Paumonak Surfcasters meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 P.M. at the Sportfishing Education Center, located in Babylon.(see map & directions to the meeting below)

We also fish all areas of Long Island. We have a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, which brings people together that share a passion for fishing, as well as a good barbecue here and there.

We have a monthly club contests for the largest Bass, Bluefish and Week fish. Our membership consists of beginners and experts alike both young and old. Paumonak Surfcasters also participate in the New York State Inter club Competition. If you would like further information about our club, or wish to join us at our next meeting, please contact us.

At the end of each season we all get together for our Annual Club Dinner. We have some raffles and a 50/50. The awards are presented to the three top anglers who caught the top Bass, Bluefish or Week fish for the year in the club contest.

From the East End: Sunrise Hwy west to Robert Moses Causeway. To Ocean Pkwy (west). The Sportfishing Education Center will be on your right.

From the West: Meadowbrook Pkwy or Wantagh Pkwy to Ocean Pkwy (east).
The Sport Fishing Education Center will be on your left. You will need to pass the
Center, then make a U-Turn and head west to access Cedar Beach Marina.
